Sandra Love is the author of four children's novels. Her most recent work is titled Dive for the Sun, and is for youth ages twelve and older. Her earlier works for young people include But What About Me?, Melissa's Medley, and Crossing Over.
Love has written and published a number of short stories for adults in literary magazines. In particular. she has authored many nonfiction articles and two multi-media projects on the history of Glen Helen and Yellow Springs; she once had a series of stories about stepfamilies syndicated. Love also owns two unpublished mystery novels and has a play in "very slow" progress.
Love has also taught at the high school and college levels and is a founding faculty member and former director of the Antioch Writers' Workshop, where she is now a member of the board of trustees.
Sandra Love lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio in an historic farmhouse. Her four children grew up in Yellow Springs as well, where they especially loved walking, playing, and learning in Glen Helen.
